The swimming pool is less than 20 meters from the house, in the domain. There are fences all around and alarms are placed to avoid any problem.

It sizes 12 x 6 meters (40' x 20') with a large aera for sun bathing or just enjoy your time with only trees and flowers on sight.

The pool can't be viewed from outside, so no one will disturb your bathing, your nap and your quality time with friends or family. You can just lay and relay, with no other sight than green, red, yellow plants and stones.

South of the house, the area is half shadow, half sun and a nice place for breakfast and dinners at twilight or at night.

When the sun is too hot, you can enjoy the area east of house, with a lot of shadow and always a light wind.

Both areas give you access to a big land, mostly flat, where children of all age can play with any worry, being always on sight reach. They can play with their bike cause most the land are with grass or sand. Both will dampen any fall.

Sometimes even a montgolfier is using it to land !

The house

Seven bedrooms with six beds for two people and three beds for one. We can provide a bed for a baby, if you tell us in advance. The four bedrooms on the last floor got an air-conditioner. The ones on the middle floor are usually fine because of the large stone walls of the house.

The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, two cookers (electric and gas), microwaves oven, two fridges, one freezer, washing machine...

Big storage places, big hall & TV room both with fireplace and armchairs, couches...

Nous avons vraiment passé un excellent séjour dans votre maison. Dès que nous nous retrouvons entre participants, on reparle de la région et de la fabuleuse semaine. Je garde précieusement l'adresse. Bon courage pour l'entretien du domaine, il est formidable !

Maison idéale pour des vacances en famille ou couples avec enfants. Tout le monde y trouve son compte.. La grande piscine, les espaces extérieurs bien aménagés, la maison spacieuse et confortable, les chambres climatisées au second étage, permettent de passer un séjour inoubliable. Ce fût le cas pour nous (9 adultes et 3 enfants ). Tout est conçu pour pouvoir passer de bons moments en restant sur place. Le village de Roussillon n'est qu'à 10 minutes à pied de la maison. A noter aussi l'accueil très agréable.

Nous venons de séjourner en famille dans ce que j'appellerais un petit paradis. Cette grande demeure au charme d'antan située dans un immense parc a toutefois tout le confort moderne. Cuisine superbement équipée, chambres spacieuses et différents salons où chacun a su trouver de quoi se distraire. Sans oublier la splendide piscine sécurisée entourée de végétation. Les propriétaires nous ont accueillis avec gentillesse et simplicité. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

Region - Local Highlights

The domain is 800 meters from Roussillon, a typical village in Vaucluse, Provence (France). There you can find one of the only two sites for "Les Ocres", which are very colored grounds and stones. It's on the road D149 also called "Route de Bonnieux". The other site is in Rustrel, less then 30 minutes drive.

You are less than 50 meters of some of the most famous pottery artists in France: the Fidler family. They worked, in their time, with the great Pablo Picasso. Even time has passed, they're still open to visitors and customers.

On the same track, you can go deep in the forest, where you can have a nice walk for about one hour.

You also are in the Luberon national Parc, less than 10 km from another village, Gordes and less than 25 km from the castle in Lourmarin, the Senanque abbey, Lacoste castle and Bories village. You have a great deal of choices if you like to walk or go in excursion...

Several local markets, fruits and vegetable will welcome you in Roussillon, Apt (10 km) but check the road while you drive, you may find here or there some nice places to buy local products ! Finally, Avignon, Popes city, theater capital is less than 40 minutes driving and the Mediterranean sea is only one hour by car.

From Grenoble (240km - 3h20), exit Manosque then follow N100 to Apt.
